Exposure Error Calculation
The exposure error in Imatest is calculated by subtracting the measured and expected (reference) normalized luminance values for each patch. This is output in the JSON file as exposure_error_normalized_y_channel
.
NOTE: PRIOR TO one of the 22. releases, we gave exposure error results in units of f-stops. Now they are given as normalized “pixel” values for the luminance channel.
