Activation on Virtual Machines
Solution
For security reasons, Imatest requires a license check every hour for users running on VMs.
Due to this requirement, an online connection is necessary in order to run Imatest on a VM.
Issues can occur when the license check fails and is usually due to one of the following:
a) spotty internet connection
b) software registered using offline activation
c) firewall blocking connection
The best way to fix this is to either improve the internet connection (e.g. ethernet > wi-fi), or run the Imatest software on a physical machine to avoid the 1-hour license checks.
